Eva Sanchis

Eva Sanchis is the Metro News Editor for El Diario-La Prensa, the oldest and largest Spanish-language daily newspaper in New York City.  Before that, she was the City Hall reporter for El Diario, where she covered the 2005 mayoral election in New York City and the Democratic and Republican national conventions. She has also covered immigration. She has been an adjunct professor at the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at New York University. Before coming to El Diario in 2002, she worked for Spanish newspapers covering politics and social issues. She graduated from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1995 with a B.A. in Journalism. She also has a M.A. in Journalism and Latin American & Caribbean Studies from New York University.
