Manja Kamwi is the program officer responsible for Central Asia and Belarus for International Media Support, an organization that provides support to local media in countries affected by armed conflict, human insecurity and political transition. Until November 2008, Kamwi was news editor at the Danish daily newspaper Information, where she worked as a reporter from 1998 until 2001. For five years, she was information officer for MS-Zambia, the Danish Association for International Cooperation in Zambia. She graduated from the Danish School of Journalism in 1998.
