Roman Shleynov

Shleynov is investigations editor at Novaya Gazeta in Moscow. He graduated from the biology and chemistry department of Moscow State Teachers’ Training University in 1997, and from the International University in Moscow, Graduate School of Journalism in 1999. He began working for Novaya Gazeta as a part-time correspondent in 1994. From 1999, he was a staff correspondent in the information section, deputy head of the information section, and deputy editor of the investigations section before taking his current position.
